The two “American Idol” favorites were in Oklahoma City last Thursday filming segments for the show’s upcoming season, and decided to join former “Idol” judge Steven Tyler and the rest of Aerosmith on stage at the Chesapeake Energy Arena!
While Jackson, who is a former member of Journey (not to mention a hell of a bass player), looked completely comfortable onstage slappin’ da bass and rocking out on a cover of The Beatles’ “Come Together”, Tyler was kind enough to take the more unfamiliar Seacrest under his wing for vocals…

VIDEO: Steven Tyler Returns To “American Idol” In Drag!
“American Idol” may not be the show it was during the first few seasons, but it still can deliver some crazy, cringe worthy moments…and I’m not even talking about the auditions!
On last night’s audition episode, the four main judges got the surprise of the season when former judge Steven Tyler randomly showed up at the Oklahoma City tryouts to say hi.
The only awkward part? He came into the room in a dress, blond wig, and red lipstick…
Check out the clip below of Tyler’s alter-ego, Pepper, and let us know what you think of the Aerosmith lead singer having some cross dressing fun.
Dude definitely looks like a lady…
“American Idol” Winner Kris Allen And Wife Involved In New Year’s Day Car Crash, Announces Baby
Kris Allen and his pregnant wife are doing better today after being involved in a head on crash on the first day of the New Year.
Access Hollywood is reporting that the 28-year-old “American Idol” winner, his wife, Kathy, and their dog, Zorro, were in the car when the accident occurred. Kris’ mom, Kimberly Allen, Tweeted a very awkward picture of her son in a neck brace and cast, asking for prayers from fans:
“From Kris: he’s in a lot of pain, arm broke, may not play guitar for a while. Prayers welcome please! #headoncollision”
She later continued, “Kristopher and Katy [Allen, Kris’ wife] are both pretty beat up but ALIVE! Thank you Jesus! They are setting his arm now and will have surgery tomorrow.”
Later in the day, Kris, made his way onto the social site as well, reassuring fans that everyone was okay, and revealing to all that he was about to become a father:
“Thank you @ford for equipping me with a car that kept my whole family @katyallen @ZorroPup and the little one we have on the way safe…Yes I got in a really bad wreck tonight and yes I’m having a lil baby. #gonnabeadaddy.”
As for his upcoming tour, Kris said that no accident was going to stop him from doing what he loves and performing for fans everywhere:
“Don’t worry everyone I may have broken my wrist but the #OutAliveTour is still on.”
We wish him only the best.
UPDATE: Steven Tyler “Apologizes” To Nicki Minaj…If You Could Call It An Apology
It’s apparent that Steven Tyler doesn’t think he said anything wrong about Nicki Minaj…
On Monday, we reported how Nicki flipped out on the former “Idol” judge after he apparently said a “racist” comment concerning her judging abilities. In a recent interview with MTV, Tyler said that the new judges wouldn’t be able to spot talent to nurture, saying,
“These kids, they just got out of a car from the Midwest somewhere and they’re in New York City, they’re scared to death; you’re not going to get the best [out of them]. … If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield! Whereas, if it was Bob Dylan with us, we would have brought the best of him out, as we did with Phillip Phillips. Just saying.”
Nicki immediately took to Twitter over the comment, saying that the racism was obvious:
“Steven Tyler said I would have sent Bob Dylan to a cornfield??? Steven, you haven’t seen me judge one single solitary contestant yet…I understand you really wanted to keep your job but take that up with the producers. I haven’t done anything to you. That’s a racist comment. You assume that I wouldn’t have liked Bob Dylan??? why? black? rapper? what? go f— yourself and worry about yourself babe.”
Yesterday, the Aerosmith legend finally fired back at his new replacement, and while he apologized, he said he has absolutely no idea where the accusations came from:
“I apologize if it was taken wrong, Nicki … but I am the farthest from [being a racist]…I am the last thing on this planet as far as being a racist. I don’t know where she got that out of me saying I’m not sure how she would’ve judged Bob Dylan.”
Don’t worry, Steven…I were wondering the same thing…
FOX and “American Idol” still have no comment on the matter.
