NSFW Video: Watch The First Official Clip From Lindsay Lohan’s Infamous Low-Budget Movie, THE CANYONS

Last week, we were treated to a small glimpse of what it’s like working on a film with Lindsay Lohan. Today, we have our first taste of the final result.

WATCH-Lindsay-Lohans-The-Canyons-Scene-ClipLast week, we were treated to a small glimpse of what it’s like working on a film with Lindsay Lohan.  Today, we have our first taste of the final result.

After hearing about all the struggles and fights that took place on the set of THE CANYONS (courtesy of a wonderfully engaging New York Times Magazine article), we can now watch the first official clip of the film.  Sadly enough, though, most of the footage is exhausting, with two almost thirds of the time spent watching as Tara (Lohan) looks for her damn phone.

The last thirty seconds, however, is definitely something worth talking about.  We heard last week about a scene where Lohan ‘s co-star, James Deen, pushed her so hard to the floor that crew members thought she was injured, only to have her bounce up and say, “I’ve got a lot of experience with that from my dad.” Within those last thirty seconds, it seems like we finally transition into that scene…

So while the acting may not be the best and while we may be only getting a glimpse of Lohan’s potential and former star power, check out the violent clip below (caution: language makes it NSFW) and wonder about the past experiences Lohan might be channeling in those final moments.

Comment back below and let us know if you think the rest of the film will do anything to help Lindsay’s career, or if all the focus on stories from the set and Lohan’s past is too damning.

THE CANYONS, written by “American Psycho” author Bret Eason Ellis and directed by Paul Schrader, follows sex and crime among a group of twentysomethings in Los Angeles. It was recently rejected by the Sundance Film Festival.
