Carrie Underwood takes a step away from her country roots with her new, upbeat, rock-ish song “Champion.” The passion fueled song has been used for both the Super Bowl and the Winter Olympics, so it is only fitting that the music video is filled with championed athletes, heroic handicap-able athletes, and fearless activists. Ludacris drops in for a verse, which is an unusual twist for an Underwood song, but it works with the Christina Aguilera-eqsue jam that’s happening here. Music can be both inspirational and dirrty right?
