Face it, most of us, at some point, have wanted a raccoon as a pet. One look at this baby one trying to figure out what the heck is going on with this whole ‘water and faucet’ thing and the whole darn country is going to want one.
This little one, named Tyrone (Biggums) the Raccoon was rescued in May 2008. He was raised as a pet until he was about 9 months old, when he decided it was time for him to return to the wild. I’m wondering if he misses spa bathrooms.
I know that if things were supposed to be domesticated, we would have done it by now. If it were ugly, we would have no interest in this animal that, when in the wild, enjoys eating out of national park garbage cans. (Who doesn’t?) But for the one minute and three seconds of this video, I still want one.
