Lady Gaga Addresses “Judas” Hate and Protest, Says Song was “Leaking a Slow Death” - POP GOES THE WEEK!!

Lady Gaga Addresses “Judas” Hate and Protest, Says Song was “Leaking a Slow Death”

Lady Gaga has been in the news recently.  There is nothing new about this.  However, it seems as if the singer is being hit a lot harder than usual because of her new song, “Judas”.

In the latest installment of “Gagavision,” Gaga addresses all the hatred and anger against the song (which tells the story of a woman who is in love with the betraying disciple), yet instead of addressing the subject matter, she talks about how much it hurts for an artist to hear their song leaked early. Talking directly into the camera to her friend, Sonja, Gaga says:

“Sonja, do you remember last night? What last night was like? Sonja was about to get some sleep, and then … I got an email…’Eek! ‘Judas’ is leaking a slow death.’ It was a slow … just put me out of my f**king misery. Just put that s**t [the song] out. There’s no need. They were like tearing limb from limb. First it was like the arm of the song, and then the liver.”

For anyone wondering where the heck the song could have came from (I know I did…), Gaga did give a quick example of her creative process, and truthfully, it really didn’t help the singer at all…

“All of the songs on the album, to be completely candid [were written quickly]. The creative process is approximately 15 minutes of vomiting my creative ideas, in the forms of melodies, usually, or chord progressions and melodies and some sort of a theme lyric idea. It all happens in approximately 15 minutes of this giant regurgitation of my thoughts and feelings. And then I spend days, weeks, months, years fine tuning. But the idea is that you honor your vomit. You have to honor your vomit. You have to honor those 15 minutes.”

Hmm…okay…so you call your songs fifteen minutes of word vomit and then keep working on it, even if it comes out like “Judas”?  I don’t know about that one…

Watch the “Gagavision” video below, take a listen to the song, and let us know what YOU think about Gaga’s new “hit”.
