THE BOURNE LEGACY may have lost Matt Damon, but that doesn’t mean that EVERY character has to go!
WorstPreviews is reporting that while Matt Damon is being replaced by Jeremy Renner, the film will still exist in the same universe as the first three movies. Joan Allen will return to play CIA agent Pam Landy, and Albert Finney will return to play Dr. Albert Hirsch, the head of the assassin training project seen in ULTIMATUM.
If you’re not already impressed by the cast, THE BOURNE LEGACY co-stars Edward Norton, Rachel Weisz and Oscar Isaac, and is being directed by Tony Gilroy (MICHAEL CLAYTON).
It will hit theaters August 3rd, 2012.
