In one heck of an explanation, former U.S. Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell is saying she walked off “Piers Morgan Tonight” because of “very inappropriate, creepy line of questioning.”
For those of you who haven’t seen it, O’Donnell appeared on Wednesday night’s show to promote her new book, “Troublemaker.” During the interview, Morgan asked her whether she still believes masturbation is wrong and supports total abstinence (positions she held strong to in the past), as well as if she supported gay marriage. When it hit the topic of gay marriage, O’Donnell commented that Morgan was “borderline being a little bit rude.” After a few more moments, she ended the interview and left the set.ÂÂÂ
The Delaware Republican appeared on “Today” this morning, explaining to Savannah Gunthrie that she wanted to stop the “borderline sexual harassment that was going on,” and at that point, the Morgan interview was running late and she was “getting the wrap-up signal off-camera” to end things so she could attend an event for Republican women:
“[Morgan] needs the ratings which is why he’s exaggerating what happened…I didn’t storm off. His sound person is the one who took off my mike.”
But wait…didn’t one of YOUR staffers, Ms. O’Donnell, block the camera to stop the interview? Guthrie pointed this out, and O’Donnell’s response was that Morgan’s “creepy line of questioning” featured “sex questions that he would not ask of a man,” and Morgan’s questions “went into a personal nature and start prying.”
“Imagine if Bill Clinton were there…Would he ask him, ‘Do you still hang out with Monica Lewinsky? C’mon, we talked about it in the ’90s, c’mon, do you still have that fascination with cigars, Bill?” She then continued with, “I didn’t even want to do the Piers Morgan show quite honestly because I knew that he resorts to these dirty tricks.”
Woah, I’m sorry, but that last line reminds me of a five year old saying, “I didn’t wanna go to Piers’ stinking party, anyway! Hmphh!”
Morgan has since invited O’Donnell back on the show. She declined.

This one is trying anything to sell this book.I watched some of the other pieces you had here and this one has always been a case.I really won’t say how i really feel about her because i respect your site.Not more then that my “God given sexual desires” are calling me.Even when the book hits the dollar store we won’t be interested.We are’nt a violent household but the need to slap her is overwhelming.
