I know a lot of women who would give anything to have even a moment alone with Mark Wahlberg and/or Leo DiCaprio.
Apparently, Wahlberg doesn’t believe so anymore.
According to MSNBC, at the Hollywood Foreign Press Associaton’s luncheon in Beverly Hills Thursday, the actor was sitting among many friends and colleagues, including Leo DiCaprio, Lea Michele, Gerard Butler and Taylor Lautner. It was the TWILIGHT hunk that got Wahlberg talking to DiCaprio, saying,
“I’m sitting at a table with a gentleman who is better looking than you and is in better shape than me…So, we’re both out of a job, dude. Taylor Lautner! We’re screwed.”
As the crowd laughed hysterically, the BOOGIE NIGHTS star continued his toast with “It’s over, dude. ‘Titanic’ and ‘Boogie Nights’ were a long time ago. I accept it. I had a good run and on to the next.”
Lautner told E! News that he was completely shocked by the unexpected shout-out:
“I don’t even know the word to describe being here…It’s so odd. It’s such an honor. I’m up on the stage and talking in front of people like that? The people that I looked up to my entire life? Hearing words like that from Mark and everybody it’s just really surreal.”
TWILIGHT doesn’t have anything on TITANIC and BOOGIE NIGHTS.
