Arnold Schwarzenegger may not be the greatest actor of all time, but that’s not stopping his son from trying to get into the business!
In a new interview with WWD, Patrick Schwarzenegger, son of Arnold and Maria Shriver, says that he’s planning to follow in his father’s footsteps and become an actor!
The 18-year-old, who also has his own clothing line, Project 360 (which helps raise money for various charities), is being very smart about his decisions though, saying that he’ll continue modeling first to get more comfortable in front of a camera:
“I’ve wanted to do some sort of acting stuff down the line, but modeling is a good way to get comfortable in front of the camera…And I want to keep my business going. I’m always thinking of new ideas and trying to find ways to expand my career opportunities.”
So how does the governor’s son stay so humble and well versed in business?
“My dad helps me a lot with my business side, and my mom and my grandparents [the late Eunice Kennedy Shriver and Sargent Shriver] had a huge influence with the charitable component and the idea of giving back…I’ve learned everything from them.”
The high school senior says that he’s also keeping an eye on school, and is applying “to USC, Georgetown, Stanford and Penn.”
