When ONCE hit theaters back in 2006, it quickly became everyone’s favorite “little movie that could” Shot in 17 days with so many unconventional methods, the film told a love story in music, and let millions believe it could happen to them, too.
Another fact, though, that makes the movie that much more magical, is the fact that the guy and the girl, Glen Hansard and Market Irglova, actually fell in love during filming. And with that, we have a trailer for a new documentary called THE SWELL SEASON.
THE SWELL SEASON, which is also the name of Hansard and Irglova’s band, tells the story of that love, from it’s beginnings during filming until today, through the good and the bad.
