VIDEO: Nike, Inspired By Back To The Future, To Launch Self Lacing Shoes!?

In the famous scene from Back To The Future, Michael J. Fox’s character Marty McFly trys on a futuristic pair of Nike sneakers which lace themselves. The scene is right here… below THAT, a NEW, teaser video from Nike that reveals that the inspired sneakers will become a reality! (It doesn’t hurt that they actually applied for a patent on the lacing technology a year ago!)

Earlier this week, Nike gave some media types a midnight phone call and a flight to LA, where they were given clues via a swag box of Back To The Future goodies. The full announcement is coming later today, where it is expected that Marty McFly’s Nike Air Mags from Back To the Future will be coming to us modern day humans earlier than expected! (The film portrays these futuristic sneakers as part of the year 2015.)
