One Day After Probation Violation Hearing, Lindsay Lohan Shows Up Late For Community Service And Is Turned Away.

Less the 24 hours after being hauled out of a courtroom in handcuffs during a probation hearing, Lindsay Lohan has AGAIN failed to meet the requirements of a service appointment. Although she was scheduled to arrive at the Los Angeles morgue at 8am, according to TMZ, she didn’t show up until 8:40. Authorities turned her away, and Lindsay turned to twitter.

Her publicist, who likely has a running email draft of excuses in her Microsoft Outlook saved folders, responded to the situation by essentially calling it a comedy of errors, “due to a combination of not knowing the entrance to go through and confusion caused by the media waiting for her arrival.” Yes, that’s it, it’s the media’s fault! Yes!

According to TMZ: the Coroner’s office then contacted the Probation Dept.’s Volunteer Center — which supervises Lindsay’s probation — and notified them that she was late … AGAIN.  That info will be forwarded on to Judge Stephanie Sautner.

Lindsay took to the happy talk on Twitter: “With all of the stress and pressure from yesterday and today, I’ve never been so happy to go to therapy!!!  Also, I’m sorry for the confusion that I may of (sic) caused to those at the Coroner’s office.  Won’t happen again, now I know where to go!”

That’s all great, we totally believe you Lins, but since the attorney called at 7:40 am to say they’d be there in 10 minutes, it seems like that might have been the perfect time to ask where the entrance was. I also believe that maybe, just maybe, they could have found out the day before… or… wait for it… shown up EARLY!

Technically, today’s incident may not actually be a major issue for Lohan. The ‘actress’ merely has to finish 16 hours by November 2nd, so as long as she fulfills that requirement before the hearing, she will likely be fine.
