Demi Lovato Returns to Treatment Center…As A Speaker

Demi Lovato is heading back to rehab, but luckily, this time, she will be there as a motivational speaker.

According to MSNBC, the 19-year-old singer returned to Timberline Knolls, her rehab facility, this past Sunday to speak to the women there and inspire.  Lovato tweeted:

“Today I went back to the treatment center I went to last year to speak to the beautiful women fighting their inner demons…I was so honored to be able to share my story and let them know that it gets easier. Life is beautiful. You are worthy of it.”

Lovato entered the rehab facility early last year to treat “emotional and physical issues.”  Since being released in January 2010, she has spoken candidly about her eating disorder, cutting and Bipolar II disorder.  She said about the experience:

“Going to treatment was a gift and I believe it saved my life. I learned how to be strong and healthy even through struggles…It also helped me open up about my issues and share them with others. Knowing that my family, friends and fans accept me for who I am is the greatest feeling ever!”
