Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds may have split up after only two years of marriage, but that doesn’t mean that their time together was any bit of a mistake.  In fact, Johansson, herself says that it was “the best thing I ever did”.

In a new interview with  Cosmopolitan, Johansson speaks out on her marriage to the Hollywood heart throb, saying that she believes in instinct:

“I’m a big believer that when something feels right, you should do it…I’m a big believer in instinct. Getting married was the right thing to do because it was natural. It grew out of a romance and love and a desire to have a future with somebody, and I was very fortunate that I married somebody who turned out to be the person I thought he would be.”

The 27-year-old actress says that while she misses “having a partner and a confidant,” she knows that she had to do what she had to do:

“Relationships are complicated…Being married is a living, breathing process. I think I was not fully aware of the peaks and the valleys. I wasn’t prepared to hunker down and do the work… Both of us were extremely busy. We spent so much time apart. It’s very difficult.”

Since the couple’s split in 2010, Reynolds has been linked to Blake Lively, while Johansson was linked to Sean Penn.

Courteney Cox’s Instagram Caption Is Every Parent With A Teenage Kid

Published

Have you heard? It’s 2020 and we’re all supposed to music videos on TikTok. Courteney Cox is no exception. The TV star posted an instagram of her and her daughter Coco dancing it out, with the hilarious caption, “Wanna see your child lose their patience? Do a TikTok with them.”

Also, how long does it take to actually learn one of these routines? It seems very time consuming.

What I was really hoping for was video of her daughter losing her patience, but what we got was a pretty strong routine!
