Demi Moore Rushed To Hospital, Being Treated for ‘Exhaustion’

After a 9-1-1- call seeking medical assistance, Demi Moore was taken to a Los Angeles hospital. Her rep says she is being treated for exhaustion.

In a statement, the rep said:

“Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health … She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”

While Moore’s rep is claiming that exhaustion is the issue, Radaronline.com is reporting something more serious. The website claims that Moore had a seizure Monday night and is being treated for anorexia, among other substance abuse issues.

A source tells the website that Moore “collapsed after having an epileptic seizure.” They also cite Moore’s dramatic weight loss since her marital problems (Moore was already thin even before the weight drop.)

While Moore hasn’t been that active work-wise this past few months, she has had no shortage of media attention. Her six year marriage to Ashton Kutcher was the center of tabloid scrutiny after she Kutcher was reportedly caught being unfaithful and Moore announced they would be getting a divorce.

Moore had recently landed the role of Gloria Steinem in a film based on the life of Linda Lovelace. Her rep says she will no longer take on the part.
