“Glee” Graduating Seniors Spinoff Show is DOA

For all you "Glee" fans hoping to see Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and the rest of the seniors in a new spinoff show, sorry to disappoint...it ain't happening.

For all you “Glee” fans hoping to see Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer in a new spinoff show, sorry to disappoint…it ain’t happening.

According to MSNBC, Fox boss Kevin Reilly announced today that the “Glee” spinoff that had been planned for the high school seniors is not going to happen:

“We are graduating the characters that are arcing to graduation. There will not be a spinoff.”

But don’t star singing the blues just yet…series creator Ryan Murphy has said that he does have a plan in place for those characters to possibly bring them back next season, and Lea Michele has been confirmed.

So my question is…will the three be coming back as teachers?  Or will the show follow Kurt and Rachel to New York?  Or maybe do they all just decide to flunk and stay for another year?
