Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott Marries Chris Tyrrell!

Congrats to Hillary Scott and Chris Tyrrell!  The two said “I do” this past Saturday!

E! Online is confirming that the Lady Antebellum singer and drummer were married in upstate New York in front of family and close friends just before sunset.

While most celebrity couples want to keep their nuptials quiet and personal,  Scott and Tyrrell actually decided to do exactly the opposite and post a video announcing the news on Lady Antebellum’s official website!  Scott says,

“We got married! We just wanted you to hear it from us first. We love you. We’re so excited to be starting our life together and we just had to let you in on the exciting news.”

For all of you wondering about the bride’s dress and groom’s tux, a rep for the singer says,

“The bride wore a custom Vera Wang strapless mermaid dress with abstract all-over lace underlay, layered tulle skirt with horsehair banding and hand-cut corded lace applique with hand-applied crystal and pearl beading…She complemented the gown with a mantilla veil with hand-cut chantilly lace applique. The groom donned a gray Ermenegildo Zegna suit.”

The couple met in 2010 on the Tim McGraw tour.  They were engaged on the Fourth of July this past summer in east Tennessee.
