Channing Tatum’s Peter Pan Production May Be Getting Off the Ground, With WARRIOR Director At the Helm

When you think of Peter Pan, Channing Tatum is definitely not the first name that comes to mind. But that doesn't mean he isn't ridiculously passionate about it.

When you think of Peter Pan, Channing Tatum is definitely not the first name that comes to mind.  But that doesn’t mean he isn’t ridiculously passionate about it.

According to JoBlo, Tatum has been trying to get his Peter Pan project off the ground for a long while.  Now, it may actually happen…

Written by Billy Ray (THE HUNGER GAMES) and produced by ALICE IN WONDERLAND producer Joe Roth, Tatum’s film is described, very vaguely, as “an origin story of Peter Pan and Hook.”  And now, WARRIOR director Gavin O’Connor has signed on to direct.

It was originally believed that Tatum, himself, would star as Pan, but the role is listed as uncast.

I have to admit, it would be interested to see Tatum go from MAGIC MIKE to PETER PAN…and somewhat disturbing at the same time…*cough*
