Kate Winslet’s 3D Breasts Censored in China’s Prints of TITANIC…And You Won’t BELIEVE The Reasoning!
This is, by far, the BEST news that I have received all day…
Kate Winslet in TITANIC was an entire other generation’s Princess Leia moment.   When it was announced that the movie was heading back to theaters in 3D, obviously, there were many jokes made about some 3D breasts.
Apparently, those were not considered jokes in China…
According to MSNBC, film censors in China determined that the scene in which Leonardo DiCaprio draws a naked Winslet has been edited so Winslet is only shown from the neck up. A statement from China’s State Administration of Radio, Film and Television reads,
“Considering the vivid 3D effects, we fear that viewers may reach out their hands for a touch and thus interrupt other people’s viewing…We’ve decided to cut off the nudity scenes.”
Are you kidding me?! Men in China are so desperate that they may fall over themselves reaching for some virtual boobs?!
One Chinese man wrote on an Internet forum, “I’ve been waiting almost 15 years, and not for the 3D icebergs.”ÂÂ
Okay, I retract my statement…maybe they are that desperate…
