Worst Previews is reporting that GK Films is currently developing a big screen adaptation of the hit Broadway musical.  While no one is attached to direct just yet, sources say that IRON MAN director Jon Favreau is the favorite.

John Logan, the writer behind such films as THE AVIATOR and GLADIATOR, is attached to write the script.

“Jersey Boys” tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons during their rise to stardom. The show opened on Broadway in 2005 and has since grossed over $1 billion in ticket sales.
