Tupac Hologram May Be Going on Tour!

If you were completely blown away and haunted by the Tupac Hologram that showed up at Coachella this past weekend, get ready, because it may be coming to a city near you!

If you were completely blown away and haunted by the Tupac Hologram that showed up at Coachella this past weekend, get ready, because it may be coming to a city near you!

According to the The Wall Street Journal, reps for Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg say the two are considering taking the virtual Tupac technology on a full stadium tour.

One option would be to have the back-from-the-dead rapper perform with the likes of Eminem, 50 Cent and Wiz Khalifa.

Digital Domain, the company behind the mind-blowing stunt, spoke out about the performance and their amazing creation.  Chief creative officer Ed Ulbrich said in an interview,

“To create a completely synthetic human being is the most complicated thing that can be done…This is not found footage. This is not archival footage. This is an illusion….This is just the beginning. Dre has a massive vision for this.”

Take a second to take that quotation in.  A completely synthetic human being from scratch.  Absolutely amazing…and terrifying at the same time.

Reps for Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg declined to on the rumors.
