Back in April, it was announced that Ashton Kutcher was cast to play Steve Jobs in the upcoming biopic, based on the best-selling autobiography. Today, we have the first images of Kutcher in full character, turtleneck and all.

The film, simply titled JOBS, will chronicle Steve Jobs’ life from wayward hippie to co-founder of Apple. Joshua Michael Stern is directing from a script by Matt Whiteley.

Producer Mark Hulme said about the casting of Kutcher in the iconic part:

“Since our film covers the early years of Apple, when Jobs was in his 20s, we needed an actor who could carry not only the youthfulness of Jobs at the time but also the psychological complexity…Because of that, and Ashton’s physical similarities to Jobs, he’s perfect for our film.”
