Guys Behind DATE MOVIE And DISASTER MOVIE Bring You THE STARVING GAMES

Why, lord, WHY is this happening?!?

Worst Previews is reporting that Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, the duo behind such memorable spoofs as VAMPIRES SUCK, DATE MOVIE, MEET THE SPARTANS, and DISASTER MOVIE have been tapped to write and direct their newest hit, THE STARVING GAMES.

While the main focus will obviously be the massive hit, THE HUNGER GAMES, the film will include jokes from a number of blockbusters, including THE AVENGERS, SHERLOCK HOLMES, and the final two HARRY POTTER segments.

THE STARVING GAMES will be selling off international rights at the Cannes Film Festival this month.  It has already sold in German and Middle Eastern territories.  (Makes sense, given their strong comedic presences over there…)
