Jessica Simpson Give Birth to a Baby Girl! See the Birth Annoucement Here!

Congrats to Jessica Simpson!  The singer is a new mommy!

E! Online is reporting that Simpson gave birth to her baby girl in Los Angeles this morning!  The official announcement on Jessica’s site reads:

“Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson…We are so grateful for all of the love, support and prayers we have received…This has been the greatest experience of our lives!!”

Little Maxwell Drew arrived weighing 9 pounds, 13 ounces and measuring 21 3/4 inches (that’s a big baby!)

Simpson’s family, including sister Ashlee Simpson, mother Tina and father Joe, along with Johnson’s parents, were spotted arriving at the hospital earlier this morning in advance of the delivery.

Another source confirms Simpson gave birth via C-section.  Both parents and baby are doing well!
