Access Hollywood is reporting that the comedian and SNL favorite will be following the exit of fellow cast member Kristen Wiig, and not be returning next season.

Samberg’s “SNL” highlights reel, which spans a total of seven seasons, includes a grand total of 100 digital shorts, as well as a number of memorable characters.  His short, “D**k in a Box”, won an Emmy Award in 2007 for best original music and lyrics.

Samberg can be next seen on the big screen in the Adam Sandler comedy, THAT’S MY BOY.
