Sad news to report today in the world of reality television, as it is being reported that Jack Osbourne, son of rocker Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne, has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

According to MSNBC, the 26-year-old new father was hit with the news only two weeks after his daughter’s birth.  He told People magazine in an interview about his frustrations:

“I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, ‘Why now?’…I’ve got a family and that’s what’s supposed to be the most important thing.”

The young star, who has been in rehab for drug abuse in the past, cleaned up his act in recent years and spearheaded a number of projects, including his own show in 2005, “Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie,” as well as a documentary movie about his father, titled GOD BLESS OZZY OSBOURNE.

Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system, and can affect muscle control, strength, vision, balance, thinking and feeling.  It has struck a number of celebrities, including Montel Williams, Donna Fargo, and Richard Pryor.
