PIC ALERT: Lindsay Lohan Is Elizabeth Taylor In These New Pics
Is this the beginning of Lindsay Lohan’s comeback?
Lifetime has released the first official photo of Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor, alongside Grant Bowler as Richard Burton, for their new biopic LIZ & DICK.
But that’s not all: another photo of Lohan in full costume was leaked to TMZ earlier today. The actress is all decked out in a pleated silk satin gown and diamond and emerald jewels, completed by Taylor’s flowing curls and iconic beauty mark.
Lohan’s rep, Steve Honig, told the Daily News that when he first saw her and Bowler arriving on set, it was like he was transported to a different time:
“I was standing there last week for publicity shots and prep when Lindsay and Grant walked on set for the first time in full makeup and costume, and it took everyone’s breath away…It was like being on set with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. It was really a moment.”
Principal photography on the project started in Los Angeles on Monday. Bowler’s casting hit the news circuit just over a week ago. LIZ & DICK will premiere later this year on Lifetime.
