When the prologue for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES first premiered before screenings of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – GHOST PROTOCOL, many fans were blown away by the action, but completely confused and frustrated by Bane’s voice.  At that point, both Warner Bros and Christopher Nolan said that no changes would be made, and fans would be able to tune into what Bane was saying after a few minutes.

Apparently Warner Bros let their panic get the best of them, and decided that redubbing some of Bane’s lines would probably be a good idea.  So, without making any official announcement, that is exactly what they did.  And now, we have the proof.

A new video surfaced on YouTube today showing the drastic difference between the original IMAX version of the prologue and the version that ended up in the film. While I never saw the prologue before MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, I have to admit, I had a very hard time understanding anything during its portions in this video.  I can’t imagine what it would have been like if I had to struggle throughout the entire movie like that…

Check out the differences below, and let us know what you think!
