GREEN MILE star Michael Clarke Duncan may be finally on the road to recovery.

People is reporting that the 54-year-old actor has finally been transferred out of intensive care after being hospitalized for more than four weeks for a heart attack.  A rep for the actor said in a statement:

“His family are firm believers in the power of prayer and have asked that you keep him in yours during this time.”

Duncan was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital on July 13 after suffering a myocardial infarction.  He reportedly went into cardiac arrest at his home, but his girlfriend, “Apprentice” alum Omarosa Stallworth, revived him with CPR.  She tweeted last Wednesday,

“After going through this medical scare with MCD…my advice to all of you is to NEVER get SICK!!”

Stallworth also tweeted this past Friday that the good news was coming, saying:

“Everyday GOD continues to smile upon my luv Michael Clarke Duncan on this arduous road to recovery. God is with us every step of the way!!”

We wish Duncan only the best.
