VIDEO: “Modern Family” Star Sofia Vergara’s Son Posts Video Of Mother’s Engagement, and Jail Scare!

If you’re a fan of “Modern Family” and it’s star, Sofia Vergara, then do we have a treat for you!

As you may have heard, Vergara got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Nick Loeb, over the weekend in a massive 40th birthday celebration in Mexico.  And now, Vergara’s son, Manolo Gonzalez, uploaded a self-edited video to give all of his mother’s fans a front seat to the entire spectacle!

The 19-year-old Gonzalez took video of the entire party, featuring Vergara and her now-fiance climbing to the top of ancient Mayan ruins in Chichen Itza, saying that “Once they went to the top…my mother’s longtime boyfriend proposed.”

But don’t let the tears of joy start flowing just yet!

On their way down, the couple ran into authorities who didn’t realize that Vergara and co. had special permission to climb up there, and were urged to “surrender” and turn themselves in because of the recorded “evidence”.

Luckily, all was sorted out, and the entire group went out to lunch to celebrate!
