Is Michael Bay Returning For TRANSFORMERS 5?!
Is Michael Bay continuing the TRANSFORMERS franchise with a part five?!
Worst Previews is reporting that during Con X KC in Kansas City, actor Glenn Morshower, who appeared in all three films and does the introduction for the ride, fueled the speculation that Bay is not only set for a part four, but is already looking ahead to the next entry! He explains:
“After I did the opening ceremonies for the ride, Steven Spielberg walked up to me and chatted and said ‘You know we’ve got you set to do the fourth one and probably the fifth one on the heels of that…So, I guess in December we are on our way to making 4 and 5.”
While this doesn’t say anything specifically about Michael Bay, it is interesting to note that Spielberg is already set to help produce TRANSFORMERS 5 “on the heels” of four (one hell of a quick turnaround if you’re changing directors…), and Michael Bay has said in the past only that TRANSFORMERS 4 would “probably” be his last installment…
Something tells me the powers at be are aiming for a brand new crazy robot trilogy…
