One of the people who stood to speak about Duncan was his GREEN MILE co-star Tom Hanks, who told a story that did just that. It was a story about why a teenage Duncan joined and then left a Chicago street gang within a matter of hours, and it had everyone in the room laughing at just how sweet the man really was.
