Deadline is reporting that “Entourage” creator Doug Ellin is only days away from finishing his feature ENTOURAGE screenplay! Ellin says that he plans to have it complete by Sunday so he and Mark Wahlberg could give it to HBO to start production!
Ellin says the film picks up six months after last year’s final episode, and brings in a lot of new developments, especially for Ari:
“There are interesting developments about Ari as a studio head, and that’s still the first page for me. But foremost is the friendship between the guys who are still hanging out and going to fun parties, and it continues with the same characters.”
No word on any cameos or if the entire original cast (including Adrian Grenier, Jeremy Piven, Kevin Dillon, Kevin Connolly, and Jerry Ferrara) will be returning (don’t see why they wouldn’t…), but hopefully a two-hour epic film will fill the hole that the lackluster final season and episode created just a few years ago…
