It’s sad to say it, but the last time Al Pacino had a string of hits was somewhere around INSOMNIA and ANY GIVEN SUNDAY. Since then, we’ve experienced more flops than hits, and to be honest, I think we all want to forget his roles in GIGLI and JACK AND JILL.
But now, we get our first look at the trailer for STAND UP GUYS, and it is nothing short of beautiful. Starring Pacino, Christopher Walken, and Alan Arkin, the film tells the story of “a pair of aging con men (Pacino and Walken) trying to get the old gang back together for one last hurrah before one of the guys takes his last assignment — to kill his comrade.”
