Bill Murray is like a ninja of fun and ridiculousness…Go out anywhere in the world at any given time, and he may show up. (Whether he’s sliding into home plate during a minor league baseball game in Charleston, South Carolina, singing karaoke in New York’s Times Square, or bartending at Austin’s Shangri-La during the South by Southwest Festival, though, is completely up to him!)
The past weekend, there was yet another crazy Bill Murray sighting on New York’s Roosevelt Island, when the actor joined a group of adult kickball players for a game!
Player Chris DiLella said that around 2:00 pm, Murray popped up out of nowhere, like the legend he is:
“He was bouncing the ball… ran over to second base. Played for a bit… Gave us all high-fives and let us pose with him in the picture.”
After the group took the picture that you see above, DiLella says that Murray even went over to one of the players’ mothers who was taking pictures and “picked her up in his arms”!
And just as quick as he showed up, Murray was gone…walking off into the sunset with three boys (assumingly his youngest kids).
So remember…no matter where you go, keep a look out, and make sure you’re always doing something fun! Because somewhere in the distance, there may be a Murray watching you…and he may be looking for another opportunity to smile, and make you smile with him!
