Kelly Clarkson Is Engaged!
Miss Independent has finally found a man to reel her in!
“American Idol” season one winner Kelly Clarkson revealed to the world over the weekend that she is engaged to be married! Clarkson wrote on Twitter,
“I’M ENGAGED! I wanted y’all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night!”
The 30-year-old singer has been dating talent manager Brandon Blackstock for the better part of the year. (Blackstock is also the stepson of country singer Reba McEntire)
Last month, Clarkson appeared on “Ellen” and talked about the relationship, saying she was happy to finally have someone to share the holidays with:
“I am not alone for the first time for Thanksgiving and Christmas and I’m very happy.”
Ironically enough, she also predicted that the couple would “totally, probably elope.”
Well at least she got the marriage part right…
