Emma Watson Mistaken For An Unaccompanied Child By Airport Authorities

Emma Watson grew up right before our eyes in the Harry Potter films. But apparently, Passport Control officers at JFK airport still think she’s got some growing to do – they stopped her in her tracks and asked her where her parents were.

Watson, who is 22 years old, shared the story on Twitter, pointing out that this wasn’t even the first time this has happened. She credits the incident in part to wearing a backpack. Watson then presented ID which proved she was, in fact, an adult. (And a wealthy one at that!)

I’m sure this is frustrating for her right now, but trust me, someday she’ll long for this to happen.
