Josh Brolin Arrested In Santa Monica For Public Intoxication
Josh Brolin may be playing a police sergeant in GANGSTER SQUAD, but that definitely didn’t help him this past Wednesday when he was arrested for public intoxication!
NBC News is reporting that Brolin was found heavily intoxicated by police in the 1600 block of Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night. After police determined that he was unable to take care of himself, they took him into custody.
Santa Monica Police Sgt. Richard Lewis says that the actor was held on a misdemeanor public intoxication charge and released without issue:
“This was a booking only to hold him until he sobered up…We do not normally file any charges on persons for simple intoxication…no further action is being sought.”
Wonder if it would have helped if Brolin said he was a sergeant, intergalactic alien government agent, and the President…or at least played them on film…
