As a woman who can count on one hand how many movie roles she has had, she certainly knows how to choose them well, and how to deliver the goods!

Oprah Winfrey The ButlerDirector Lee Daniels, the man behind “Precious” and “The Paperboy” tells the story of Cecil Bates (Forrest Whitaker). Bates witnesses pivotal moments in history via his role as a servant in the White House. It’s based on real-life White House servant Eugene Allen, who attended eight sitting presidents in 34 years, retiring in 1986. Winfrey plays his wife.

Check out the amazing cast! John Cusack as Richard Nixon, Robin Williams as Dwight D. Eisenhower and Jane Fonda as Nancy Reagan. James Marsden as Kennedy, and an amazing supporting cast that includes Lenny Kravitz, Mariah Carey, Vanessa Redgrave, Terrence Howard, Melissa Leo, Minka Kelly, David Oyelowo, Liev Schreiber and Alan Rickman.

“The Butler” comes out October 18th.
