WATCH: Five Reasons You Need To Watch “The Price Is Right” More.

First, this video of a guy body surfing down the audience for his 'Come On Down" moment. And then, the production team let me pretend to be host when I interviewed them after their Emmy win.

Do you remember how fun and cool The Price Is Right was when you grew up? It was the best thing about staying home from school. I used to raid my kitchen of anything with a price sticker and play it with my friends during the summer.

Well, it’s just as awesome now. In fact, more so. Here’s why…

Price Is RightFirst, this video of a guy body surfing down the audience for his ‘Come On Down” moment. (And then, further down, see how the production team let me pretend to be host when I interviewed them after their Emmy win.)

PS – when Drew Carey moves on, I totally want to host The Price Is Right. There, I said it.

Here’s the video of college student Premal Shah, a former Stanford University student celebrating his bachelor party, crowd surfing to contestants row.

Because of this awesome woman who hit 100 on the big wheel! Her awesome reaction is beyond priceless.

Because Drew Carey dances (and sometimes falls) on the set.

Then, flash back to the Daytime Emmy Awards back in June. They won the award for best game show, and they immediately got everyone’s attention in the winners room for their unbridled enthusiasm and hilariousness. As I interviewed EP Mike Richards and his team (I covered the red carpet for @RedTouchMedia,) they were even cool enough to entertain my childhood stories of watching the show. I am in love with the whole team, and still dream of spinning the big wheel, if not as a contestant, then as a fan!

Snoop DogOh yeah, and because sometimes Snoop Dog shows up.

  • After a somewhat disappointing Season 41, we have a lot of burning questions we need to know when Season 42 of The Price is Right debuts on September 23rd: Would Season 42 recover from a disappointing Season 41? Are the contestants continue to be more dumb and dumber? Are we ever going to have just one “perfect show”? How long will Rachel Reynolds be sticking around? Is Drew Carey still NOT in the level Bob Barker was? Are the contestants continue to “screw things up” during pricing games? Is Mike Richards still running out of ideas? Can Drew Carey be able to stop wasting his time with everybody? Can the Double Overbid curse be stopped if the contestants doesn’t do something and they have to be very careful on what they’re bidding on in the Showcase round? Are the models be able to stop waving their hands on camera because it’s been their obsession all the time? Can the editors be able to stop cutting to the models because of their body language? Can Drew Carey be able to stop asking stupid questions to the contestants during the Showcase Showdown and so on? Was it a fluke that The Price is Right won an Emmy for Outstanding Game Show back in June 2013? Who’s responsible for picking those brain dead contestants? Are the contestants always an after thought? Is Drew Carey a poor replacement for Bob Barker? And and Drew, the models and the contestants be able to stop acting all crazy and grow up like mature adults? My advice to Drew Carey and the rest of the show: YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!
