WATCH: Five Reasons You Need To Watch “The Price Is Right” More.
Do you remember how fun and cool The Price Is Right was when you grew up? It was the best thing about staying home from school. I used to raid my kitchen of anything with a price sticker and play it with my friends during the summer.
Well, it’s just as awesome now. In fact, more so. Here’s why…
First, this video of a guy body surfing down the audience for his ‘Come On Down” moment. (And then, further down, see how the production team let me pretend to be host when I interviewed them after their Emmy win.)
PS – when Drew Carey moves on, I totally want to host The Price Is Right. There, I said it.
Here’s the video of college student Premal Shah, a former Stanford University student celebrating his bachelor party, crowd surfing to contestants row.
Because of this awesome woman who hit 100 on the big wheel! Her awesome reaction is beyond priceless.
Because Drew Carey dances (and sometimes falls) on the set.
Then, flash back to the Daytime Emmy Awards back in June. They won the award for best game show, and they immediately got everyone’s attention in the winners room for their unbridled enthusiasm and hilariousness. As I interviewed EP Mike Richards and his team (I covered the red carpet for @RedTouchMedia,) they were even cool enough to entertain my childhood stories of watching the show. I am in love with the whole team, and still dream of spinning the big wheel, if not as a contestant, then as a fan!
Oh yeah, and because sometimes Snoop Dog shows up.

Drew Carey better stop messing things up in his head when he’s hosting The Price is Right. He’s very bad at not knowing the prices even though Drew is not smart enough in his brain. On every episode he sometimes act like a contestant and Drew better stop doing that. Always hate Drew’s most annoying catchphrases like “do you want to say hi to someone”, “you’re right under the ballpark”, “missed it by that much” and “good luck” which I really hate the most. He’s wasting everybody’s time and when I watch the show, it really drives me crazy and giving me headaches. Drew Carey better stop this madness once and for all because he’s talks too much and a poor man’s Bob Barker.
