B’WAY BUZZ: ‘Frozen’ Debuts New Song From The Musical

There hasn’t been this much icy wonderment in New York City since Al Roker uttered the phrase “bomb cyclone.” Disney’s 2013, mega-hit Frozen was a game changer for animated films and had millions channeling their inner Idina as they belted out some chilly, high notes. With the film’s multiple layers, strongly developed characters, and captivating score, a Broadway adaption seemed like an obvious choice. Well the film’s songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, joined Jennifer Lee in doing just that, and yesterday was the musical’s first preview on Broadway. To celebrate, the show has released the new song, “Monster,” sung by Broadway’s Elsa, Caissie Levy. The song matches the tone of those from the film and makes me think that the musical is going to be everything we want and more. Listen to the new song below! As for me I will be waiting bundled up on line at the box office…the cold never bothered me anyway….
