Is there anyway to convince acapella supergroup, Pentatonix, to let an instrument play along with one of their covers, because I would shake a mean tambourine just to sway in the background of one of their videos. The group known for their “musical evolution” videos, has evolved themselves and creates new ways of keeping their covers interesting. Their latest cover, off of their “PTX: Presents Top Pop, Vol 1,” is a magical mash up of Dua Lipa’s New Rules and…vocal drumroll… Aaliyah’s Are You That Somebody?. The group perfectly blends the two songs, and the results make for another hit. The new album drops on April 13th, and I am sure it will be another 5 star success.
