If you have not yet seen THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, then you are very late to the party…Just saying…you should go crawl out from under the rock you live and find a theater that is still playing it…

If you HAVE seen the film, then you know that Liam Neeson has a nice little hallucination cameo as Bruce Wayne’s mentor, Ra’s Al Ghul.  But what you may have not realized is that while the scene was fairly important to the plot, Christopher Nolan completely refused to tell Neeson what was going on!

In a new interview with hollywood.com, Neeson spoke about just how secretive (and annoying!) the scene was to shoot:

“I went and shot a scene [in The Dark Knight Rises] for two hours with Christian Bale. There was a set, and Christian was tied up. I said, ‘Chris, what am I doing?’ ‘Um … well, just walk forward, and say the lines, walk back, and that’ll be it, really.’ I said, ‘What the f***? Tell me the story!’ ‘Um … I’d prefer not to, really.’ Okay, don’t mind me — I’m just an actor.”

Not sure why Nolan would have trust issues with Liam Neeson (hell, the guy is basically God), but obviously he did not want everyone’s favorite badass to talk about his appearance…

Or why it was important…

Or, well, anything about the film at all.
