You know how it is… you want to throw a party, but you can’t invite everyone. And so you keep it quiet, only telling a few select people because you don’t want to word to get out and people’s feelings to get hurt. And you tell those few select people to be discreet about it or it will be awkward.
And I’m sure you know how it is when word of your party gets to People Magazine and then it’s everywhere that you’re having this super exclusive party! It’s just plain awkward!
Next thing you know, you have a bear on your shoulder. (above left.)
This totally almost happened to me once.ÂÂÂ
In truth, James Franco spilled the beans himself on a Canadian talkshow. Says PEOPLE:
“I’m a partner in a bar that’s opening up, and the after-after-after-after-party is going to be at my new bar,” the actor, 32, said this weekend at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. “It’s at a secret location. And that’s what I’m looking forward to because I’m going to be singing there at the bar. I’ll be singing at the Oscars, but there will be a private performance at my new bar.”
I am still not sure why I am not invited.
He continues:
“It’s called the Writer’s Room,” he says. “It’s in L.A. That’s all I can say because I can’t fit everybody. Everybody at the Governors Ball will not fit into my new bar, but it’ll be going down.”
The Oscars are February 27th… his party will spill over into the 28th. I will patiently await the evite.
