Charlie’s Angels Will Be Former Devils.

The upcoming Charlie’s Angels series pilot has a unique twist on the original. Instead of Charlie selecting ‘three little girls who went to the police academy…each assigned very hazardous duties,’ the gals will be former hardened (and sexy) criminals given a shot to redeem themselves by fighting crime.

According to Entertainment Weekly, ‘one of the trio has been previously reported as a con artist, while another is an ex-Marine and weapons expert.’

The current lineup stars Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh, with Robert Wagner in talks to be the voice (still on speakerphone, by the way) of Charlie.

Production on the pilot begins in March.
