ABC Will Not Press Charges Against Chris Brown

So Chris Brown is getting a bit of a lucky break…

TMZ is reporting that ABC and “Good Morning America” have decided not to press charges against the R&B singer, and the NYPD will not investigate the matter because there is no complaining victim.

If you haven’t heard, Brown shattered a window at ABC Studios yesterday morning after getting pissed that he was asked questions about his incident with Rihanna years ago.

The reason why it’s such a lucky break, you ask?  Brown is still on probation for beating up Rihanna, and could have faced real prison time if the judge violated his probation on grounds he committed vandalism.  The judge will not violate probation unless New York prosecutes Brown.

I repeat again: Lucky break.
