Gilbert Gottfried is Apologizing, “Meant No Disrespect” with Tsunami Jokes

Gilbert Gottfried is suddenly sorry for his extremely tasteless and disrespectful tweets about Japan’s Earthquake and Tsunami.

The funnyman took to twitter today to apologize about yesterday’s remarks (which he also deleted), saying:

“I sincerely apologize to anyone who was offended by my attempt at humor regarding the tragedy in Japan.”

“I meant no disrespect, and my thoughts are with the victims and their families.”

Keep in mind that this was also on the heels of him being fired as spokesman for Aflac (yeah…he’s the duck).  I’m sorry, but when you let loose twelve different tweets like that, it ain’t all forgiven that easily and quickly.

The question is, do YOU think he should be forgiven?
