Ryan Phillipe Not Exactly Retiring From Acting.

Ryan Phillipe has gotten all Amanda Bynes on us… apparently saying he’s going to stop acting and then saying he’s not going to stop acting. I wonder how concerned people really got  in the first place, aside from his agent. 

In an interview to promote his flick “The Bang Bang Club,”he told the New York Post that he was so sick of the paparazzi that he was ready to end his career:

“I think I’m going to end my acting career … I’m so introverted. I’m ready to be behind the scenes. I’m 36, but I’ve been doing this for 20 years.”

Well, Access Hollywood dug a little deeper…  talking to someone who slammed the brakes on Phillipe’s statements. (The last thing Phillipe needs is casting agents no longer considering him for a role.) The anonymous person says the comments were taken out of context, and that Phillippe is looking to expand his behind-the-scenes efforts in addition to his acting roles.
