1996 Family Guy Prototype Lives On The Web.

Family Guy afficionados might enjoy this video – a rough looking clip (mostly because it looks like it was recorded from VHS off the TV amd uploaded. It takes the expression ‘Low-Res’ to a more Flintstones quality.) It is apparently a 1996 airing of a Seth McFarlane cartoon that features the same voices as Peter and Brian (Both voiced by McFarlane himself) as a man and his dog. They look completely different, and the setup is certainly unique from the series, but you can clearly see a young creative thinker early in his career. Below that, a video of what eventually came to be an actual episode fo Family Guy, but with much more crudely drawn animation and not-so fleshed out voices.

As for the 1996 video, it’s hard for me to get through. A LOT of setup and not enough action in the initial minutes.
